This summer, we have travelled to the French and Italian Alps looking for big alpine riding tours. We found some of the highest 'stratas militares' reaching 2850m. Bear in mind that above 2500m you enter another dimension of MTB. You become a biker and mountaineer, encountering some exposed climbing and rocky terrain, and expect long journeys (6-8 hours). If you can manage this, you will have epic riding days.

Last year a bunch of friends from Northern California came to Eastern Pyrenees with Berga Enduro to ride their legendary trails. They loved so much the Pyrenees...and they come back to ride other terrain. These bikers are from Marin County ( San Francisco)the birth of Mountain Bike.
